On an entirely different note, I just re-found my four favorite classical music CDs.
I’ve been listening to Satie’s Gymnopedie No. 3, mostly. I find it quite soothing.
My moods are heavily influenced by music. My moods are influenced by a lot of things, actually. I can use music to my advantage, though. I use it to quickly fix bad moods or calm myself down.
This is a decent rendition of Gymnopedie no. 3:

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to share this. It’s past midnight; my brain is going slow. I’m feeling confident. I’ll regret this in the morning, I know it
I made this website as an assignment in my CPLA class. Be warned, it was only ever made as something for my teacher and a couple of friends to see. It has absolutely no redeeming literary values, and was only intended as a small amusement to the two other people I know who have played these games.

I didn’t think I wanted to share this. I’ve been vacillating over it since we first were assigned to create a blog. When I was thinking about what my interests are, this whole thing was the first thing that came to mind. I’m kind of quiet about the fact that I’m a huge anime and manga geek. The fact that twice as geeky about obscure Japanese video games is kind of like my… hmm… everything I want to write here is cliché. It’s not really a secret. I’m kind of quiet about everything. But it is a secret, at least a little bit.
Alright, I’ll say it. I play obscure Japanese video games about demons and religion and cannibalism and I like them. Well, not really about cannibalism, not all of them at any rate. The games are from the Shin Megami Tensei series. I find them fascinating. As a character in the games, you have to make a lot of choices about your moral alignment. It gets really weird at times.
But it’s more than just the allure of the oddness that makes me like these games. They’re fun games to play. Really hard at times, but fun nonetheless. I really like the art style of the games, especially the Digital Devil Saga games and Nocturne. The detail is really beautiful to look at. The games have intriguing stories, and not just save the world from certain death and destruction kind of stories. A couple of the games start after the end of the world. And the characters are interesting too.
I think I’m feeling guilty for like these games and trying to justify myself. I really shouldn’t. I should just accept that I might have a different opinion than other people.
There, I did it. I shared. I know I’m going to regret this…

That's all
I went home to see my family. Sarah picked me up as soon as my Japanese class was finished, a couple minutes past noon on Friday. We left the fish in the apartment. We followed the same driving routine as usual. She drives till Naches; after that it’s my turn. She doesn’t like to drive in the mountains. We stopped to pick up my sister in Ellensburg. We don’t let her drive at all.
It was an uneventful drive home. Tissy showed us her new apartment. I played MP3s through the radio. White Pass was lovely, like it always is. I can’t remember the conversation, but there must have been one. We got home before the sun set.
That’s all.

Blog about blog
So, this is my second blog post. Only my second, even after a couple of weeks. At first it was just procrastination. I didn’t have any good ideas, and I didn’t want to put up something that didn’t come from a good idea, because this is public and all that.
After a few days, I forgot. I have a terrible memory for important things, especially things I need to get done. I don’t have enough focus; I’m too easily distracted. I was making list of things I had to get done, and I forgot the blog entirely. It just slipped out of my mind for a while.
That’s not to say I never remembered it. It came back to visit me a couple of times over the weeks. It was always at inconvenient times. In the pool, during the drive home from Spokane, in the middle of Japanese class. I wrote myself a couple of notes. The problem with notes is that you have to remember to read them for them to be worthwhile. I kept forgetting before I could get around to doing anything.
I finally remember the blog at a convenient moment.

Hmm...
I've never had a blog before. Also, I am not entirely comfortable with putting stuff on the internet. Also again, I don't have a specific theme for my blog or writing topics. And final also, I have no idea what to write about right now. I'll try again later.
